Marvel has announced that a Blade film, starring Mahershala Ali as the eponymous vampire hunter, is in development at the studio. This will be Ali’s second role within the MCU, having previously played Cottonmouth in the Netflix show Luke Cage. The Fantastic Four are coming to the MCU. Kevin Feige confirmed as much during the blowout mega-movie announcement at Marvel’s SDCC 2019. Feige teases Black Panther and Captain Marvel sequels, Fantastic Four, mutants… and Mahershala Ali as Blade.
