Rambler Group, the third-largest internet company in Russia, has filed a lawsuit against Twitch over illegal broadcasts of English Premier League soccer in that country. As reported by Kommersant (Google translated, via VGC), Rambler claims that streams of matches on Twitch violated its exclusive broadcast rights approximately 36,000 times, and as a result it is now seeking 180 billion rubles ($2.9 billion) in damages and a permanent ban on Twitch in Russia. He was a human NPC that players discovered hiding in a secret ‘dev room’ in Fallout 76 back in January. The hidden room contained every item in Fallout 76, including a few that hadn’t actually made it into the game at the time. The room’s caretaker was a lone human NPC named Wooby. Wooby’s discovery was a big surprise at the time because we hadn’t yet learned about Fallout 76’s Wastelanders expansion, which will bring human NPCs to the game next year. At first spawning human NPCs seems pointless

Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox Series X console was announced last Thursday night at The Game Awards, complete with vertical monolith design. And, to be honest, we’re only just getting used to the idea that the next generation of Microsoft consoles is called the Xbox Series X, but now it seems that the Xbox Series X is just one of Microsoft next-gen consoles. “And at The Game Awards you saw that name come to life through the Xbox Series X.” That could mean we see equivalents of the more powerful Xbox

Over the weekend, Epic and Disney released a new trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in Fortnite. After that came a Star Wars glider, a lightsaber, and TIE Fighter crash sites to explore and reclaim. Later this week, the Star Wars content crossover will move into a whole new dimension, as Mark Hamill will join with Ninja to show off more in-game content. After all, you don’t invite Mark Hamill onto your show to showcase his hot gaming skills. Ninja tweeted a few behind-the-scenes shots

None of that seemed like an obvious path toward making TIE Fighter, a groundbreaking flight sim that would have a dramatic impact on the Star Wars universe, and certainly one of the greatest Star Wars games of all time.
